Tidal pool
Tidal swimming pool in Saint Malo in the north of France. I took this picture in 2004 pretty much at high tide. You will be amazed by how the pool looks at LOW TIDE. The tidal range in the Bay of St Malo is one of the greatest in Europe and is over 10 meters on average. The ocean waves of the Atlantic are pushed in the Channel causing the water level to rise with great force.
