‘Villa in the dunes’ in Hook of Holland is designed by architecture and urbanism firm Zandbelt & Van den Berg. It is designed for two art aficionados right in the dunes of Holland. The house plays with the dune landscape by its piano nobile which sits on top of a slope. Part of the slope enters the house through the central patio around which the spaces are shaped. A guest room downstairs has its own entrance and facilities. The facade consists of a range of materials and textures much like a collage.
