Clash of scales

A picture of the Brienenoord bridge in Rotterdam. Built in the sixties it was recklessly cutting through the old village of IJsselmonde. In the middle of the picture is the Brienenoord Island after which the bridge was named. The island itself is a fascinating place as well.
