Lounge chair & Ottoman
The renowned Lounge Chair 670 with Ottoman 671 by Charles & Ray Eames released in 1956 and still produced today by Vitra. The designers intended to combine the ultimate comfort with best craftsmanship the optimal lounge chair. They were inspired by the English club chair. It is a great chair but also rather bulky for a modern interior. Ray Eames supposedly mentioned this herself by calling it ‘undesigny’. This particular resident solved it well by leaving plenty of space around it.
