Pumping station Park Locks
The Pumping Station “Parksluizen” (Park Locks) is situated near the Parksluizen in Rotterdam. The locks connect the Schie canal with the river Maas at Coolhaven. The structure consists of a pumping station as well as a staff residence. It was designed by architect Joost van der Grinten and built in 1967 of reinforded concrete with different textures at its surface.
