The ultimate Le Corbusier experience: Reclining on the LC4 Chaise Longue in Villa Savoye, both designed by the acclaimed architect. The Chaise Longue was designed in 1929 around the same time Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed the Barcelona Chair. Both chairs have become icons of twentieth century modern furniture. The Savoye Villa in the Paris satellite town of Poissy was also designed in the late twenties and is considered as one of the highlights of prewar modern architecture. You can tell I was enjoying it.
