The worn-out IKEA kitchen desperately needed a make-over. The beech wood top was rotting and the general layout looked kind of sloppy. So instead of replacing the entire kitchen I chose to renew the run-down parts and keep the good parts. By doing so we could get an almost new kitchen for a very modest price. The plastic top is new as well as the okoume plywood back wall, the fronts and upper cupboards. Also I made some small changes in the layout so the kitchen would not only look better but be more practical as well.
