VAST contains two materials harmoniously put together: An aluminium sheet with a plywood panel. The aluminium is bent to the shape of the seat and has a layer of foam on top. The plywood follows the shape of the seat and both interlock cleverly without using any screw, bolt or glue. It results in a a visually balanced chair which can be efficiently stored and transported.
